Internal Accountant for Finance and Reporting

Due to the expansion of our business in Serbia, we are looking for a new member of our team as an Internal Accountant for Finance and Reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the accounting system
  • Process month and end year closing, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, treasury, capital assets reconciliations, fixed asset activity, etc;
  • Consolidating accounts and open balances;
  • Responsible for preparation and reconciliation of VAT;
  • Responsible for following up and implementing the local TAX and financial legislation;
  • Preparing reports in accordance with the internal management requirements;
  • Preparing reports for consolidation purposes;
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines;
  • Cooperation with an audit and Tax authorities;

Requirements:

  • University degree (in Accounting or Finance)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting and taxcompliance
  • Knowledge of local accounting standards, IAS, and IFRS
  • Strong knowledge of English
  • Excellent computer software skills, knowledge of AB soft would be an advantage
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization; strong interpersonal skills; deals honestly with people
  • Ability to adapt to and operate in a fast-paced, changing environment

Office Assistant

Our Belgrade office provides services of tax consulting, accounting, audit, payroll, and corporate finance consulting. Due to expansion in Serbia, we are looking for a skilled Office Assistant to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Maintain files and records with effective filing systems
  • Support, with administration team members, various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.)
  • Monitor office expenditures and handle all office contracts (rent, service etc.)
  • Support to accounting department
  • Deal with customer issues
  • Monitor office supplies inventory and help in placing orders
  • Prepare complex and non-routine letters, offers and service agreements, and maintain efficient correspondence to assist office staff
  • Assist in vendor relationship management
  • Assist in internal and external events and PR activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role (1-2 years of experience)
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
  • Proficient written/verbal communication skills and fluent in English
  • German language will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to be mindful of deadlines
  • A proactive,helpful attitude and the ability to be flexible in various situations

Team Leader - Senior Accountant

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work  experience on a similar position, preferably in international environment
  • Knowledge of local accounting standards, IAS and IFRS
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of German language would be an asset
